Leaseivo, operated by Ermis Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information when you use the Leaseivo platform (the "Service").

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • Review content: Ratings and optional written comments you submit for properties.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregate data about how visitors interact with the Service (page views, navigation paths). This data does not identify individual users.
  • Session data: We use JWT-based sessions stored in cookies to keep you signed in. These cookies are necessary for authentication and expire when your session ends or you sign out.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Display your name and profile picture alongside reviews you submit
  • Allow you to view, edit, and delete your own reviews
  • Prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and ban accounts that violate our policies
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service
  • Respond to support requests or legal inquiries

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. How Your Information Is Shared

4.1 Public Information

Reviews you submit — including your display name, profile picture, ratings, and any written comments — are publicly visible to all visitors of the Service. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your reviews.

4.2 Service Providers

We share data with the following third-party service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Neon — serverless PostgreSQL database hosting. Your account information and review data are stored on Neon's infrastructure.
  • Vercel — application hosting and deployment. Vercel processes requests to the Service and provides anonymized analytics.
  • Google — OAuth authentication provider. Google's privacy policy governs the information shared during sign-in.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of Leaseivo or its users, or prevent fraud or abuse.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and reviews for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information from our database within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Anonymized, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Edit or delete reviews: You can edit or delete any review you have submitted from your profile page at any time.
  • Account deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email address below.
  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us.
  • Cookies: You can disable cookies in your browser, though this will prevent you from remaining signed in.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure database hosting.
